Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 pounds of skirt steak
  • 1/4 cup of your favorite marinade
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Diced onions optional
  • Diced bell peppers optional
  • Minced garlic optional
  • Paprika optional

Instructions
 

  • Trim excess fat from the skirt steak for even cooking.
  • Prepare a marinade by mixing olive oil, garlic, and herbs like thyme and rosemary (optional).
  • Add red wine or beef broth to the marinade (optional).
  • Season the steak with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Place the skirt steak into the slow cooker.
  • Add the marinade and olive oil on top of the steak.
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
  • Optionally, add diced onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic halfway through the cooking time.
  • Serve the cooked skirt steak and enjoy!
